From commuting to events, the cycling community connects people of all ages and backgrounds through a common affinity for all things bike. Working on cycling related projects brings together the best of my worlds.
The creative brief for this commission was a paintable design that would express the client’s Australian heritage combined with his love of falcons while keeping the bicycle’s handcrafted titanium on view. The winning design brings together wings with an homage to Australian art techniques.
When the New York Cycle Club approached me to design their jersey I was happy to oblige. Here was a great opportunity to put together some of my favorite things: cycling, typography, branding, New York City.
